This is a great project to do with kids. It’s simple, but allows the artist to get a little messy. And grandparents LOVE getting something that show’s them just how much your little one has grown!
Start with a paper that can hold up to paint like watercolor paper. Fold it in half.
Dip your hands into a water-based paint. I used the top of a take-out container as a palette.
Line a table with newspaper or scrap paper. With the folded side of the paper facing you, make a print with your hands with the thumbs and index fingers touching each other. This makes a heart shape.
Let the paint dry. Flip the cards over and write a special message to your sweetie using stamps or markers.
