Post Valentine’s Day Craft: Candy Box Bead Sorter

Published on February 15th, 2017

A box of chocolates is a great Valentine’s Day gift, but what can you do with that pretty box once all the goodness has been eaten up? Here’s an easy project for those of us who love to make stuff.

Empty chocolate box
Decorative paper
Hot glue gun
Foam core (optional)

If you have a really fancy chocolate box, like a satin, heart-shaped box, you may just need to make a label. For a less decorative box, cover with some pretty paper, and make a nice label.

Glue some ribbon, or more paper to decorate the sides.

If the box had two tiers of chocolates, you may want to replace the flimsy paper separating the trays with a sturdy piece of foam core or mat board.

Use the chocolate trays to sort beads, findings and other small crafty items.
